The Horn of Africa is one of the most severely climate change – affected regions in the world. Due to its post-conflict status, complex political relations, and complicated natural and human geography, the region only receives a fraction of resources necessary to counter this phenomenon.

Torrid works with international conservation and environmental protection partners towards closing this gap. We utilize our extensive knowledge of the region, government relations, research and community links to mitigate the complexities of the region, while working towards reducing the impact and effects of the global climate change on the nature and its people.
